MOU signed between SSITPC and Asiapacifrica Holdings (M) Berhad Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

12th -14thSeptember

At the Hilton Sentral Hotel, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between China’s Shanghai based South – South International Trade Promotion Centre, represented by its Chairman – Madam Geng Hong and Malaysia’s Asiapacifrica Holdings Berhad, represented by its Chairman - Admiral (Rtd) Tan Sri Abu Bakar bin Jamal. This MOU, being the result of several rounds of discussions over a period of six months both in Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur, is aimed at synergizing the strengths of both parties in facilitating trade, economic development, social and infrastructure project management and security systems development in the Asian, Pacific and African regions. Premised mainly upon a Business to Business approach and soliciting government approvals and support only where necessary, the parties hope that projects and business ventures could be planned and implemented expeditiously without too much red tapes and bureaucratic impediments.

While South – South International Trade Promotion Centre has the full endorsement of the Chinese Government and the solid backing of China’s businesses with their financial and technical capabilities, Asiapacifrica Holdings Berhad offers its vast experience in security management at all levels and its extensive related networks throughout the regions. Together it is foreseen that they can be a strong catalyst for economic and social development in tandem with the creation of a peaceful and conducive security environment. Their joint philosophies of common wealth creation for social betterment of peoples and the preservation of their environments would be the key criteria in deciding on what they take on to do and who they would opt to do it with. The launch of a substantial number of projects and development ventures is expected to take shape in the coming months.
